  1. Wood looks different from Steel 
  2. Steel look different from Aluminum
  • Materials may also appear shiny or dull.
  • Shiny materials are those which have luster whereas the materials lacking luster are called dull.

 

  • Some materials appear dull when they are exposed to air or moisture.
