What effect does the concentration of H + (aq) ions have on the nature of the solution?

Answer:

We know that an acid dissociates to form H + ions and a corresponding anion.

Hence, more the amount of acid, more will be the concentration of H + ions.

Similarly, the more the acid, the more is the acidity of the solution.

Hence, as the number of H + ions increases, the acidic nature of the solution increases and vice-versa.
