Why do we apply paint on iron articles?

 

Answer

  • Painting an iron article prevents it from rusting .
  • Paint acts as a barrier between the metal surface and the outside environment .
  • Paint doesn't get oxidised , it further prevents oxidizing of the iron article .
  • Thus preventing rusting/ corrosion .
