How much energy is given to each coulomb of charge passing through a 6 V battery?

Answer

Here Energy consumed will be work done

Given

Potential Energy = V = 6 V

Charge = Q = 1 C

We know that

Potential Difference= Work done/ Charge

V = W/ Q

V × Q = W

W = V × Q

W = 6 × 1

W = 6 J

Energy consumed = Work done = 6 Joules
