- 2 Electrodes (Solid through which electric current leaves or enters
- Electrolytes (Liquid which is good conductor of Electricity)
- Vessel(to keep Electrodes or Electrolytes)
What is an Electrode?
It is a solid through which electric current leaves or enters
They are made of Carbon and metals
They are of 2 types
- Cathode - It is connected to the positive terminal of battery and gets positively charged
- Anode - It is connected to negative terminal of battery and gets negatively charged
