Given, Number of Matches won = 10 Win Percentage = 40 % Let the Total Number of Matches played by the team = x Now, Win Percentage = (𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑀𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑠 𝑤𝑜𝑛)/𝑇𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 × 100 40 = 𝟏𝟎/𝒙 × 100 𝑥 = (10 × 100)/40 𝑥 = 25 ∴ The total Matches Played = 25
