Monomial has only one term different

Binomial has only two terms different

Trinomial has three terms different

Let’s take some examples

28𝑥

It has only one term.

So its Monomial

2𝑥 − 3

It has two terms

So it is binomial

15𝑥y − 25y + 18

It has three terms

 so it is trinomial

3𝑥 + 9x

3𝑥 + 9𝑥 = 12𝑥

So it is only term

∴ It is Monomial

2𝑥 + 3𝑥 + 8𝑥y

2𝑥 + 3𝑥 + 8𝑥y = 5𝑥 + 8𝑥y

So it has two terms

∴ It is Binomial

24xy − 25x 3 y

It has two terms

∴ It is binomial.

Now,

We learned that

  Monomial has 1 term

  Binomial has 2 terms

  Trinomial has 3 terms

And

      Polynomial has n terms

So, all monomials, binomial, trinomials are in fact polynomials.

So, all monomials, binomial, trinomials are in fact polynomials.
