Let’s take some examples True proposition False Converse Counterexample to the converse If a person is someone's mother, then she is a parent. If a person is a parent, then that person is a mother. A father is a parent but is not a mother. If an animal is a dog, then it is a mammal. If an animal is a mammal, then it is a dog. A whale is a mammal but not a dog. If a person lives in Delhi, then that person lives in India. If a person lives in India, then that person lives in Delhi. Someone living in Mumbai lives in India but not in Delhi.
