Finding Coordinates To pinpoint a location on this grid, we use "coordinates," which are always written in pairs like this: (x, y) x-coordinate always comes first. It tells you how far to move horizontally (left or right) y-coordinate always comes second. It tells you how far to move vertically (up or down) x-coordinate always comes first.
