Question 4 What are the other angles that can be constructed using angle bisection? Can you construct 65.5Β° angle? We can construct any angle that is a half of a standard angle. Start with γ€–πŸ”πŸŽγ€—^∘ β†’ Bisect to get γ€–πŸ‘πŸŽγ€—^βˆ˜β†’γ€–πŸπŸ“γ€—^βˆ˜β†’γ€–πŸ•.πŸ“γ€—^∘ Start with γ€–πŸ—πŸŽγ€—^βˆ˜β†’ Bisect to get γ€–πŸ’πŸ“γ€—^βˆ˜β†’γ€–πŸπŸ.πŸ“γ€—^∘ Now, the question asks Can you construct γ€–65.5γ€—^∘ ? No, not with just a ruler and compass. This is because Ruler and compass constructions work for angles that are multiples of πŸ‘^∘ (like 15, 30, 45, 60…) If we double 65.5 , you get 131 Since 131 is not divisible by 3 , we cannot build this angle using standard geometric construction methods We would need a protractor for this one!
