Question 4 - Figure it out (Page 140) Recreate this design using only a ruler and compass —We can create this design by creating circles of the same size and intersecting them That is how we can make 4 side petal, or a 6/8/10 side petal also It has to be even number of petals Now, let’s look at steps of construction Steps of Construction 1. Draw a circle of radius 3 cm (we can take any radius) 2. Mark 4 points at 90° (Top, Bottom, Left, Right). 3. Assume one of those points as center Draw a circle of same radius 3 cm 4. Repeat with the next point. Keep it as the center and draw circle of radius 3 cm 5. Repeat again with the next point. Keep it as the center and draw circle of radius 3 cm 6. Repeat for the last point Keep it as the center and draw circle of radius 3 cm 7. Highlight the arcs formed Note: If we rotate it, it is exactly what the question asked
