Question 2 (i) Draw a quadrilateral whose diagonals have equal lengths of 8 cm that bisect each other, and intersect at an angle of (i) 30°Since diagonals are equal, and bisect each other, the quadrilateral is a rectangle To construct it, we follow these steps Draw a line segment AC of length 8 cm. Mark its midpoint O. Draw another line segment BD of length 8 cm passing through O, such that it makes angle 30° with AC. Ensure O is the midpoint of BD as well. Join the endpoints A, B, C, and D. Thus, ABCD is our required rectangle. Question 2 (ii) Draw a quadrilateral whose diagonals have equal lengths of 8 cm that bisect each other, and intersect at an angle of (ii) 40°Since diagonals are equal, and bisect each other, the quadrilateral is a rectangle To construct it, we follow these steps Draw a line segment AC of length 8 cm. Mark its midpoint O. Draw another line segment BD of length 8 cm passing through O, such that it makes angle 40° with AC. Ensure O is the midpoint of BD as well. Join the endpoints A, B, C, and D. Thus, ABCD is our required rectangle. Question 2 (iii) Draw a quadrilateral whose diagonals have equal lengths of 8 cm that bisect each other, and intersect at an angle of (iii) 90°Since diagonals are equal, bisect each other, & angle between is 90°. Thus, the quadrilateral is a rectangle To construct it, we follow these steps Draw a line segment AC of length 8 cm. Mark its midpoint O. Draw another line segment BD of length 8 cm passing through O, such that it makes angle 90° with AC. Ensure O is the midpoint of BD as well. Join the endpoints A, B, C, and D. Thus, ABCD is our required square. Question 2 (iv) Draw a quadrilateral whose diagonals have equal lengths of 8 cm that bisect each other, and intersect at an angle of (iv) 140°Since diagonals are equal, and bisect each other, the quadrilateral is a rectangle To construct it, we follow these steps Draw a line segment AC of length 8 cm. Mark its midpoint O. Draw another line segment BD of length 8 cm passing through O, such that it makes angle 140° with AC. Ensure O is the midpoint of BD as well. Join the endpoints A, B, C, and D. Thus, ABCD is our required rectangle.
