Question 2 Construct a rectangle in which one of the diagonals divides the opposite angles into 45° and 45°. What do you observe about the sides?Let’s make a figure For rectangle ABCD Rectangle ABCD where Diagonal AC divides it into 45° and 45° We have to assume a length of Rectangle Let Length of Rectangle = AB = 7 cm Steps of construction 1. Draw side AB of length 7 cm 2. Now, we draw 90° from point A 3. Now, we draw 90° from point B From point A - we draw 40° Where that line intersects the perpendicular from point B is point C From point A - we draw 40° Where that line intersects the perpendicular from point B is point C 6. We draw 90° from point C. 7. Where that line intersects perpendicular from A is point D Thus, ABCD is our required rectangle We observe that all sides are equal So, this is a square
