The rule for the Virahāńka sequence is that each new term is the sum of the two previous terms. The next 2 numbers are: 987 + 1597 = 2584 1597 + 2584 = 4181 The previous 2 numbers are: 1597 - 987 = 610 987 - 610 = 377
