Question 1 - Page 132 Come up with an expression that always has even parity. Since Even × Even = Even Even × Odd = Even Thus, multiplying any number with an even number will give us an expression which has even parity Examples: 2k 8x 4y + 6 - Here we have Even + Even = Even In each case, no matter what whole number you use for the variable, the result will be even. Some more examples are 100p 48w – 2 - Here we have Even – Even = Even
