Question 2 Rahim mixes 2/3 litres of yellow paint with 3/4 litres of blue paint to make green paint. What is the volume of green paint he has made?Amount of yellow paint = 2/3 liters Amount of blue paint = 3/4 liters Now, Amount of green paint = Amount of yellow paint + Amount of blue paint = 𝟐/𝟑+𝟑/𝟒 = (2 × 4 + 3 × 3)/(3 × 4) = (8 + 9)/12 = 𝟏𝟕/𝟏𝟐 liters Thus, volume of green paint Rahim has made is 𝟏𝟕/𝟏𝟐 liters
