Question 1 (m) Add the following fractions using Brahmagupta’s method: (m) 9/2+5/4+7/6 To find common denominator of these fractions We need to find LCM Common denominator = LCM of 2, 4, 6 = 2 Γ— 2 Γ— 3 = 12 Now, making denominator 12 of all these fractions πŸ—/𝟐=9/2 Γ—6/6 =πŸ“πŸ’/𝟏𝟐 πŸ“/πŸ’=5/4 Γ—3/3 =πŸπŸ“/𝟏𝟐 πŸ•/πŸ”=7/6 Γ—2/2 =πŸπŸ’/𝟏𝟐 Our sum becomes 9/2+5/4+7/6 = 54/12+15/12+14/12 = (54 + 15 + 14)/12 = πŸ–πŸ‘/𝟏𝟐
