Question 1 (h) Add the following fractions using Brahmagupta’s method: (h) 3/5+5/8 Basically, we need to make denominator same To do this, we multiply both denominators 5 Γ— 8 = 40 So, our fractions become πŸ‘/πŸ“=3/5 Γ—8/8 =πŸπŸ’/πŸ’πŸŽ πŸ“/πŸ–=5/8 Γ—5/5 =πŸπŸ“/πŸ’πŸŽ Now, our sum becomes 3/5+5/8 = 24/40+25/40 = πŸ’πŸ—/πŸ’πŸŽ
