Question 1 (h) Add the following fractions using Brahmaguptaβs method: (h) 3/5+5/8 Basically, we need to make denominator same To do this, we multiply both denominators 5 Γ 8 = 40 So, our fractions become π/π=3/5 Γ8/8 =ππ/ππ π/π=5/8 Γ5/5 =ππ/ππ Now, our sum becomes 3/5+5/8 = 24/40+25/40 = ππ/ππ
