How do woollen clothes keep us warm in the winter?

  • Wool is a poor conductor of heat .
  • Warm air trapped between the woollen fibres is not able to escape into the surroundings.
  • This prevents the flow of heat from our bodies out into the environment.
  • Hence we are able to keep warm in winters .
