  • It is made up of cellulose
  • Cells are loosely packed

 

  • Cell wall is unevenly thick (due to pectin)
  • It is made up of pectin and hemicellulose
  • There is very little space between cells
  • Cell wall is thick and hard (due to lignin deposition)
  • It is made up of lignin
