Mohit : Yes certainly, I have already studied for the test tomorrow.

Answer:

Note/Rule: Reporting is always done in the passive voice . So, only the past perfect tense will be used along with the third form of the verb.

For part 1

if she could borrow his maths book

Here, ‘could’ is the past participle form of the verb ‘can’ which represents the physical capability to do something and the pronoun ‘his’ is used to represent Mohit.

For part 2

He had already studied for the test

Here, ‘had’ is the past participle form of the verb ‘has’ and ‘he’ is the pronoun used to represent Mohit.

Thus the correct paragraph is

Ritika asked Mohit if she could borrow his maths book for a couple of days. Mohit agreed and said that he had already studied for the test.
