Ex 2.2, 2 Find p(0) , p(1) and p(2) for each of the following polynomials (i) 𝑝(y)=𝑦^2−𝑦+1 Given 𝒑(𝐲)=𝒚^𝟐−𝒚+𝟏 Putting 𝒚=𝟎 𝒑(𝟎)=0^2−0+1 =0−0+1 =𝟏 Putting 𝒚=𝟏 𝒑(𝟏)=1^2−1+1 =1−1+1 =𝟏 Putting 𝒚=𝟐 𝒑(𝟐)=2^2−2+1 =4−2+1 =2+1 =𝟑
