A pendulum oscillates 40 times in 4 seconds. Find its time period and frequency.

 

Answer

Given

Number of oscillations = 40

Time taken=4 seconds

 

Now,

Frequency = Number of oscillations/ Total time

                 = 40/4

                 = 10 Hertz

 

Time period = 1/ Frequency

                   = 1/10

                   = 0.1 seconds
