Explain why objects moving in fluids must have special shapes.

Answer

When an object is moving in a fluid, the fluids exert a force opposite to the direction of motion.

This frictional force is exerted known as drag

To decrease this drag, the objects are given a special shape

Hence, it becomes easier for the objects to move in the fluid
