Ratio of 9m to 27cm

First Method

1m = 100cm

So, 9m = 9 x 100cm

             = 900cm

now, 900cm/27cm

       =300/9

       =100cm/3cm

thus, the required ratio is 100cm : 3cm

Second Method

1cm = 1/100 m

so, 27cm = 27/100 m

                = .27m

now, 9m/.27m

       =3/.9

       =1/.3

thus, the required ratio is 1m : .3m
