Ex 11.1, 1 Find the area of a sector of a circle with radius 6 cm if angle of the sector is 60ยฐ. Given that, Radius = r = 6 cm & Angle of the sector = ฮธ = 60ยฐ We know that, Area of sector of circle = ๐ฝ/(๐๐๐ยฐ) ร ฯr2 = 60/360ร22/7ร(6)2 = ๐/๐ร๐๐/๐ร๐๐ = (6 ร 22 )/7 = 132/7 cm2
