CO 2 is able to control fire in 2 ways
1 Carbon Dioxide is heavier than oxygen
When it is sprayed,it covers object like a blanket and cuts oxygen supply
2 Carbon dioxide does not harm electrical equipment
If water is sprayed on electrical equipment,it damages it and can cause short circuit
However,there is no such effect if carbon dioxide is sprayed
