Ex 2.1, 4 How many whole number are between 32 and 53 Method 1 Numbers between 53 & 32 = (53 − 32) − 1 = 21 − 1 = 20 So there are 20 numbers between 32 & 53 Method 2 In this method, we just write all the numbers between 32 and 53 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53 On counting the numbers, there are 20 numbers between 32 & 53
