Substance State Particle arrangement
Aluminium foil Solid Tightly packed, fixed positions.
Glycerin Liquid Loosely packed, moving in limited space.
Methane gas Gas Widely spaced, free to move everywhere.
Draw aluminium foil as packed solid particles, glycerin as looser liquid particles, and methane as far-apart gas particles.
