The question is asking the y-coordinate of a point in the x-axis Let’s choose any point on the y-axis It’s coordinate is (–3, 0). Similarly, we can choose (2, 0) or even (0, 0). We observe that the y-coordinate is 0 This is because y-coordinate is the distance we move up or down from the origin. Since x-axis is at the origin itself, we do not move up or down at all
