Isometric ProjectionsIn Isometric Projection, all three dimensions of an object is shown in one view. The word comes from Greek: Iso = Equal Metric = Measure In an isometric drawing, all the "main" edges of a cube (length, width, and height) are drawn with the exact same length. This is different from "perspective" drawing (where things further away look smaller). In isometric, a 2cm edge is always 2cm, no matter where it is. There are three main rules to isometric drawing: horizontal edges are drawn at 30 degrees vertical edges are drawn as vertical lines Parallel edges appear as parallel lines Example: For a cube
