Question 1 - Page 82 What surface do you construct by using the above net, in which O is not the centre of the boundary circle? Make a physical model to help you answer this question!A normal cone's net looks like a slice of pie (a circular sector). Because the tip (O) is exactly in the center, the bottom edge is a perfect, smooth curve, meaning the cone sits flat on a table. If O is not the center, the bottom curve will be uneven. When you roll it up, the base will be slanted. You will have created an Oblique Cone (like a wizard's hat that has been pushed sideways).
