The "Magic Formula" for Linear EquationsIn the previous question we had to solve 300 + 6x = 10x β 100 Generally we can write this as Ax + B = Cx + D We can write the solution of this directly as x = (π« β π©)/(π¨ β πͺ) Letβs do an example Solve 650m + 4000 = 500m + 5050 We can use our formula for this Comparing equation with Ax + B = Cx + D Thus, A = 650 B = 4000 C = 500 D = 5050 And, our solution is x = (π· β π΅)/(π΄ β πΆ) x = (ππππ β ππππ)/(πππ β πππ) x = 1050/150 x = 105/15 x = 7
