Question 2 - Page 144 What could be a general rule to multiply a number by 101 and write the product in one line? Extend this rule for multiplication by 1001, 10001, …We can follow these rules For 11 (10 + 1): Add the digit to the digit 1 places to its right. For 101 (100 + 1): Add the digit to the digit 2 places to its right. For 1001 (1000 + 1): Add the digit to the digit 3 places to its right. For 10001 (10000 + 1): Add the digit to the digit 4 places to its right.
