Question 10 (Page 162) The seat of a two-wheeler parked on a sunny day has become very hot. How can you cool it down?Pour or sprinkle water on the seat (fastest cooling method) Water absorbs heat from the seat. 2. Cover the seat with a cloth soaked in water Evaporation cools surfaces when water evaporates, it takes heat away. 3. Move the bike into shade (slower, but no water needed) Shade reduces heat from sunlight, allowing the seat to lose heat naturally.
