(i) Student 1 (ii) Student 2 (iii) Student 3 (iv) Student 4Student 1 The thermometer should be held vertically not be tilted. So, Student 1 is not measuring the temperature correctly Student 2 The thermometer is held vertically The thermometer is not tilted. So, Student 2 is measuring the temperature correctly Student 3When the thermometer is immersed in water, its bulb should not touch the bottom of the beaker So, Student 3 is not measuring the temperature correctly Student 4When the thermometer is immersed in water, its bulb should not touch the sides of the beaker So, Student 4 is not measuring the temperature correctly Final Answer Four students used a laboratory thermometer to measure the temperature of water as shown : Who do you think followed the correct way for measuring temperature? (i) Student 1 (ii) Student 2 (iii) Student 3 (iv) Student 4Student 2 is measuring the temperature correctly as the thermometer is held vertically and it is not tilted.
