SquareA square is a quadrilateral in which All angles are all right angles (90°) All sides are of equal length Now, we have to ask How are squares related to rectangles? Relation with RectanglesNow, Every square is a rectangle (because it has angles 90° and opposite sides equal). But, NOT every rectangle is a square (because rectangles don't necessarily have equal sides). We can illustrate this using a Venn Diagram Here, the "Square" circle is completely inside the "Rectangle" oval. Let’s do this with example Here, All figures (i) to (iv) are rectangles But, only figure (iv) is a square Thus, we can say All squares are rectangles
