Visualized – Rectangles formed with different angles between diagonalsLet’s look at a few different examples of this Angle between two diagonals is highest Angle between two diagonals is lowest Angle between two diagonals is 45° (it becomes a square) The Circle Logic Since the diagonals bisect each other and are equal length, the center point is equidistant to all four corners. This means a circle can be drawn touching all four corners. "Any triangle inscribed in a semicircle is a right triangle." (Thales's Theorem) Since the diagonals are diameters of this circle, the corners must be 90°.
