Question 6 - Page 132 What would be the nth term for multiples of 2? Or, what is the nth even number? Even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, …. We note that all numbers are in table of 2, i.e. all are multiples of 2 Thus, nth term for multiples of 2 = nth even number Our expression for even numbers 2n where n = 1, 2, 3, 4,.. Therefore, nth term for multiples of 2 = nth even number = 2n where n = 1, 2, 3, 4,..
