Question 1 (e) - Figure it out (Page 128) Arrange… such that the sequence reads: (e) 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 There are total 7 children, and we start from right to left 1 - Since right most child has 1 child taller than him. It means it is the 2nd tallest child, so it should be D 1 – Only one child is taller than him. It means it is the 3rd tallest child, so it should be B 1 – Only one child is taller than him. It means it is the 4th tallest child, so it should be G 1 – Similarly, we go decreasing heights. Now, left with us are A, C, E, F. Tallest (except F) of which is C. So, it should be C 1 – Now, left with us are A, E, F. Tallest (except F) of which is E. So, it should be E 1 – Now, left with us are A, F. Since F is taller, So, it should be A 0 – This is F Thus our arrangement looks like
