Question 13 (i) Calculate and write the answer in scientific notation: (i) If each person in the world had 30 pieces of clothing, find the total number of pieces of clothing.Human Population as on August 2025 is 8.2 Billion people And, Billion has 9 zeroes So, Human Population = 8.2 × 109 Now, each person has 30 pieces of clothing Thus, Total Number of Pieces of clothing = 30 × Human Population = 30 × 8.2 × 109 = 30 × 82/10 × 109 = 3 × 82 × 109 = 246 × 109 Since scientific notation has 1 digit before decimal point = 2.46 × 102 × 109 Applying am × an = am+n = 2.46 × 102 + 9 = 2.46 × 1011 Thus, there are 2.46 × 1011 pieces of clothing
