Question 2 There are 5 bottles in a container. Every day, a new container is brought in. How many bottles would be there after 40 days?Now, Number of bottles on Day 1 = 5 Since new container is bought in daily That means, one container is added daily Number of bottles on Day 2 = 5 × 2 Number of bottles on Day 3 = 5 × 3 Number of bottles on Day 4 = 5 × 4 Thus, Number of bottles on Day 40 = 5 × 40 = 5 × 4 × 10 = 20 × 10 = 200 Thus, 200 bottles would be there after 40 days
