Question 1 (c) Find the missing terms: (c) Perimeter of a rectangle = 12 m; length = 3 m; breadth = ?.We know that Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b) Putting Perimeter = 12 m, l = 3 m 12 = 2(3 + b) 12 = 2 × 3 + 2b 12 = 6 + 2b 12 – 6 = 2b 6 = 2b 2b = 6 b = 6/2 b = 3 m ∴ Breadth of rectangle = 3 m
