Question 1 – Page 103 If you wanted to visually represent the data of the heights of the tallest persons in each class in your school, would you use a graph with vertical bars or horizontal bars? Why? You should use a graph with vertical bars (a column graph). Why: Height is a vertical measurement, meaning it goes up from the ground. Using vertical bars that also go up makes the graph more intuitive and easier to understand at a glance. It aligns with our real-world perception of height.
