Line Segment If we join two points, we get line segment. We write line segment AB as (𝐴𝐵) ̅ or (𝐵𝐴) ̅. Here, A and B are the end points of the line segment. Note: Here, line segment (𝐴𝐵) ̅ is same as line segment(𝐵𝐴) ̅ Also, Line segment is also the shortest route to get one point to another We note here that line segment AB is the shortest path between point A and point B
