Question 1 (a) Draw angles with the following degree measures: a. 140° Let’s draw angle 140° using protractor We follow these steps 1. Draw ray OA 2. Place center of protractor at O, and coincide line OA and protractor line 3. Mark point B on 140° 4. Join OB ∴ ∠ BOA = 140° Question 1 (b) Draw angles with the following degree measures: b. 82° Let’s draw angle 82° using protractor We follow these steps 1. Draw ray OA 2. Place center of protractor at O, and coincide line OA and protractor line 3. Mark point B on 82° 4. Join OB ∴ ∠ BOA = 82° Question 1 (c) Draw angles with the following degree measures: c. 195° Now, 195° > 180° So, it’s a reflex angle We draw the other angle, and then find reflex angle Other angle = 360° – 195° = 165° Let’s draw angle 165° using protractor Let’s draw angle 165° using protractor We follow these steps 1. Draw ray OA 2. Place center of protractor at O, and coincide line OA and protractor line 3. Mark point B on 165° 4. Join OB ∴ ∠ BOA = 165° But, we need reflex angle 195° Let’s mark that on the diagram ∴ Reflex ∠ AOB = 195° is the required angle Question 1 (d) Draw angles with the following degree measures: d. 70° Let’s draw angle 70° using protractor We follow these steps 1. Draw ray OA 2. Place center of protractor at O, and coincide line OA and protractor line 3. Mark point B on 70° 4. Join OB ∴ ∠ BOA = 70° Question 1 (e) Draw angles with the following degree measures: e. 35°Let’s draw angle 35° using protractor We follow these steps 1. Draw ray OA 2. Place center of protractor at O, and coincide line OA and protractor line 3. Mark point B on 35° 4. Join OB ∴ ∠ BOA = 35°
