  • The process of obtaining crystals of pure substances from their solutions is called crystallisation. 
  • It is the process used to obtain salt from seawater .
  • It is a physical change. No new substance is formed.

For example- 

Copper Sulphate crystals can be obtained from the solution of pure Copper Sulphate .

This solution is also known as blue vitriol .
