  • It is the low lying area of the ground where the garbage collected from the city is dumped.
  • The garbage which cannot be disposed off by any other method is loaded in trucks and disposed in low lying areas.
  • It is then covered with a layer of soil.
  • Once the landfill is completely filled it is then converted into a playground or a park.
