For part 1

  • Option (a) - will be eliminated as ‘who’ is used when one meets a stranger and want to know his identity
  • Option (b) - This is correct
  • Option (c) - will be eliminated as ‘what’ is used when one wants to enquire about the species or a non living subject
  • Option (d) - will be eliminated as ‘where’ is used when the question is about the location of the subject

For part 2

  • Option (a) - This is correct
  • Option (b) - will be eliminated as ‘where’ is used when the question is about the location of the subject and not his condition
  • Option (c) -  will be eliminated as ‘where’ is used when the question is about the location of the subject and not his condition

For part 3

  • Option (a) - will be eliminated as the parts of the sentence are not in correct order
  • Option (b) - will be eliminated as ‘it’ is used before ‘is’ and the reverse has to be done when a question is asked

  • Option (d) - will be eliminated as ‘which’ is not used with time

For part 4

  • Option (a) - will be eliminated as it is a statement and not a question

  • Option (d) - This is correct

For part 5

  • Option (a) - This is correct
  • Option (b) - will be eliminated as ‘is’ is not used with future tense
  • Option (c) -  will be eliminated as ‘have is not the correct verb that has to be used
  • Option (d) - will be eliminated as ‘did’ is used with past tense and not with future tense

For part 6

  • Option (a) - This is correct
  • Option (b) - will be eliminated as ‘why’ is not used when one agrees with something
  • Option (c) -  will be eliminated as ‘what’ is not used with reasoning
